Conclusion
Onsite Parking has it's benefits in terms of convenience based on location, which is within an arms reach to the desired Terminals. Unfortunately this comes at a price, which may be ok for one or two days, but if your stay is longer, then the costs will amount up.
As seen with the Economy Lot 9, the price is Good overall versus most lots, but the Occupancy can be Sold Out at Peak travel times due to popular demand.
Offsite Parking Lots are priced competitively with a standard product offering, but the key thing is that once you have pre-booked your spot, your parking is reserved.

Wow, I didn’t realize that it was so expensive and so far away from the terminals. I’m glad I live in a relatively small city that has on-site parking. Still not the cheapest, but at least it’s not miles away! Thanks for sharing, I learned something new!
Hi Jean – What makes New York City Parking expensive is the City Tax. This goes for airport parking as well, situated within city boundaries. Thanks – Colin
This is great information you give in this post. I can’t believe how expensive parking can be in New York. It happens for me to fly from JFK three to four times a year and many more times I have to drop off family members there.
Thank you for sharing this! It’s very helpful information!
Thanks Katerina – Glad the information was helpful – Colin
